Negative Keywords
Edit keyword
MirachSEM match type controls are built for the part of the workflow that usually happens after collection: formatting the final list. Instead of moving keywords into another tool, you can decide the output format while you are still reviewing search terms.
Pick a default for the whole list
The match type selector at the top of the MirachSEM panel controls the default format for the entire list. Set it once and every keyword you collect follows that rule when you copy or export the result. This keeps the list consistent without adding another cleanup step at the end.
Use Smart mode for mixed lists
Smart mode is useful when a list contains both one-word negatives and longer phrases. It keeps single words broad and formats multi-word entries as exact match. That gives you a practical default for common search-term cleanup sessions while still keeping the list editable.
The logic is simple: a single irrelevant word is often the modifier you want to block wherever it appears, so broad match is usually the fastest useful format. Multi-word negatives tend to be more specific, and exact match keeps that phrase contained instead of turning every word in it into a wider block.
Override individual keywords on the go
The default does not lock the whole list. If one keyword needs a different match type, open its row in the panel and override it directly. MirachSEM updates that keyword's formatting without changing the rest of the list.
Skip spreadsheets and manual brackets
When the list is ready, the formatting is already part of the copied output. You can paste it into Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, a shared negative list, or your team's change log without cleaning it up in a spreadsheet, using a keyword wrapper tool, or typing quotation marks and square brackets by hand.
